Salary Range: $70,000 - $85,000 / year DOE

Legal Litigation Assistant Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of litigation experience, specifically in civil litigation
  • Strong knowledge of the Code of Civil Procedure rules
  • Experience with court filings, including e-filing in state and federal courts
  • Proficiency in PACER, ECF, and case management software (e.g., LSSe64)
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Teams, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel, Word), Adobe Acrobat, and e-Discovery tools
  • Proven ability to format legal documents and create tables of contents/authorities for legal briefs
  • Paralegal certificate prefered
Legal Litigation Assistant Responsibilities :
  • Assist attorneys with drafting, and filing motions, briefs, and other legal documents
  • Handle court filings in compliance with state and federal court requirements, including e-filing
  • Manage discovery, including document production and e-discovery platform management
  • Organize trial preparation, including exhibits, depositions, and witness preparation
  • Maintain case calendars and deadlines
  • Build strong relationships with clients and colleagues
