Job Description Summary
This position will be responsible for assisting the purchasing and stores departments in a manufacturing facility to manage indirect purchasing and inventory.

Job Description

Successful candidate will perform the following

1. Assist Indirect Procurement Manager with daily operational responsibilities.
2. Collect daily inventory counts for all chemicals and lubricants used on site.
3. Collect item tags from boxes and 'Check out" all items in Plex.
4. "Receive" all Indirect material MRO and Equipment orders in Plex. This includes UPS, Fed X, Supplier Truck and Freight orders.
5. Print new item tags and tag all incoming material.
6. Stock incoming material in designated location.
7. Perform cycle counts both physically and in Plex.
8. Enter req's in Plex. (As required)
9. Clean stores and transport corrugated to dumpster.
10. Participate in min/max, late release and Coding meetings.
11. Order office supplies and deliver to appropriate requestor.
12. Follow up on open orders.
13. Frequent contact with others inside and outside the department to resolve procurement related issues.

Required Skills and Education

AAM/OMF is seeking a full-time student pursuing a Business Management degree.

1. Bachelor's degree in-progress at a college or university.

2. Excellent oral and written communication skills.

3. High level of interpersonal skills to work effectively with others.

4. Strong computer skills, specifically in Microsoft Office applications.
