JOB SUMMARY

The Marketing Manager will work closely with the marketing team and Anne Carlsen (AC) leadership to develop and implement marketing tools and strategies for Anne Carlsen. Under the direction of the Vice President of Marketing, the Marketing Manager will be tasked with helping identify marketing trends and opportunities for growth through social media, written content, graphic design, photography and videography, etc. to assist AC customers (both internal and external) with marketing needs. The Marketing Manager may assist in presentations about our ongoing campaigns and provide administrative support to the Anne Carlsen marketing department and the leadership team.

QUALIFICATIONS (minimum requirements)

Education and/or years' experience required:
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business or related field.
  • 2 years' experience working in marketing or advertising
  • 2 years' experience with graphic design, copywriting, written marketing content, development of marketing tools, social media, website management, etc.
  • 2 years' experience with digital marketing and social media platforms including, but not limited to, Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, Google, YouTube and X.
  • Ability to learn and apply new technology including AI.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Tools; including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • 2 years' experience with Adobe Creative Suite, InDesign and Canva
Preferred/Required Skills and Abilities:
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • 3 years' experience with graphic design, digital marketing experience and experience in social media platforms.
Supervision of others/decision making aptitude (if applicable): This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:
  • Demonstrates excellent and effective interpersonal, written and verbal communication.
  • Demonstrates an expert level understanding of digital, written or oral marketing tools to meet the customers' needs.
  • Collaborates with the marketing team and AC leadership on marketing strategy and marketing tool development to meet customers' needs.
  • Demonstrates ability to oversee maintenance and regular updates to marketing documents, social media posts, etc.
  • Demonstrates the ability to keep up to date on current marketing trends, as related to social and digital media, website management and graphic design content.
  • Demonstrates ability to determine and research marketing trends and key opportunities for innovation.
  • Demonstrates ability to work with various types of software for digital marketing, social media, marketing content and graphic design, etc. to meet customers' needs.
  • Demonstrates ability to create marketing materials as needed for customers, either through content design platforms, photography/videography or digital/social media etc.
  • Demonstrates ability to monitor, analyze and research effectiveness of marketing documents and campaigns, social media posts, etc.
  • Demonstrates ability to prepare, format and edit a range of marketing documents for the customer in the timeframe required.
  • Demonstrates ability to evaluate and enhance all existing marketing materials to maximize effectiveness.
  • Collaborates with teams regarding marketing needs to ensure alignment and consistency across the organization.
  • Demonstrates ability to meet brand standards for all marketing resources.
