Performing client management / interfacing / updates / presentations with Program Management, Field Cost Engineers partner with Project Managers to ensure complete awareness of project cost, risks and provide alternative strategies for mitigation / opportunities. Jacobs Engineering Group utilizes advanced Enterprise System platforms and data analysis solutions to support service excellence. You’ll have the opportunity to make a huge impact. Specifically, you’ll perform the cost engineering for assigned work streams on the Program. This will include, managing the direct and indirect costs and reporting function, interfacing with other project team members, including Engineering, Construction, Subcontractors, Procurement, Home Office Cost Controls, and Accounting. Change management and identification of potential risks will be integral to the reporting function. Preparation and management of the Total Installed Cost (TIC) report will be a primary requirement. We’ll look to you to provide budget and forecast status reports and related project reporting analyses to the project team. Coordination with Contracts, Construction and Subcontractors to ensure all parties are coordinated in project cost forecasting. Specific experience in cost engineering functions, including cost estimating, cost control, change management and cost analysis • Experience in project controls, commercial operations, with emphasis on project controls and financial issues • Skills with Excel - Pivot Tables and Macro level, Databases (MSAccess), Power BI and dashboard development, desirable.
