Are you interested in pursuing meaningful work?  Are you interested in ending intimate partner violence in Tarrant County?  SafeHaven is Tarrant County’s only state-designated family violence program – this means we have the honor of working alongside domestic violence victims to keep them safe and simultaneously do our part in holding offenders accountable.  We offer flexible work-life balance and an opportunity to change the community – and the world.  We are excited to welcome new staff into our family and to work on this critical, life-saving mission together.            SafeHaven is seeking a Housing Case Manager       This position delivers case management, conducts need assessments, offers legal advocacy, and provides victim assistance to individuals and families participating in the SafeLiving Housing program.      This position has significant responsibilities that includes providing case management and financial planning assistance to clients during home and office visits, offering necessary referrals and advocacy. Establishes collaborative relationships with other service providers and legal authorities to enhance client services and community involvement. Maintains current knowledge of available community resources and shares this information with colleagues. Offers support in training staff and volunteers as needed. Ensures the timely and accurate documentation of case management activities and client interactions in designated records. Flexibility in working hours is essential to accommodate the schedules of employed clients and to participate in overnight weekend camps for housing children.          SafeHaven values employees who are in line with the culture of the agency, including those who are curious, trustworthy, open communicators, flexible, and willing to be held accountable. Working in the domestic violence field can be hard – but we can do hard things.          The specific qualifications for this role are preferred:     
  •  Bachelor’s degree in social work or related field.  
  •  Minimum of one year experience in case management, which includes assessing, planning, developing, implementing, monitoring, group facilitation, and evaluating options and services to meet the needs of the client. 
  •  Knowledge of Intimate Partner Violence, gender-based violence, and crisis intervention strategies required. 
  •  Ability to provide culturally competent services and work with diverse staff and clientele in an empathetic and non-judgmental manner. 
  •  Strong organization and time management skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced and changing environment.
