Evans is hiring a Data Analyst resource to join their growing team in one of their contracts in Washington DC. You will perform analytics and general data support functions that assist in executing reporting, dashboards, and stakeholder data insights. We are seeking someone who demonstrates proven success in translating and scripting data for end-user functionality.
  • Extract and verify data from various sources to transform data into comprehensible metrics.
  • Provide data insights to stakeholders that assist in solution development.
  • Troubleshoot, monitor, and resolve database issues or discrepancies to ensure data integrity.
  • Utilize various scripting and data analytical tools to produce reporting, dashboards, and data files.
  • Administer post implementation surveys to measure data performance and results.
  • Communicate the impact and effectiveness of data changes to stakeholders.
  • Review data models and functions to support business objectives.
  • Identify opportunities for process optimization based on data analysis.
  • Cross-functional team collaboration with Change Management personnel to understand stakeholder needs.
  • Provide presentations to stakeholder leadership regarding data insights, progress, and results.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in related field (i.e., Computer Science, Statistics, Marketing).
  • Minimum of 2 years relevant experience (or equivalent experience in lieu of degree).
  • Knowledge of general data analyst functions of pulling and translating data. theories, principles, and practices with a solid knowledge of general budgeting principles and practices.
  • Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills and able to communicate effectively with stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
  • Precise, detail-oriented, and strong analytical skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize workload to meet deadlines in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
  • Demonstrates analytical thinking and active listening to drive success.
  • Government contract analyst experience is a plus.
  • Experience with the Department of Defense or any of the US Military Branches is a plus.
  • Experience supporting multiple simultaneous projects in a fast-paced environment is a plus.

Compensation

Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $60,000 to $70,000 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Evans's total compensation package for employees.
