Description

Inteva Manufacturing/Industrial Engineering Interns get the chance to learn about Manufacturing/Industrial Engineering's role in supporting a manufacturing company, gain hands-on experience, and work on meaningful projects that make an impact. The intern in this role will work with the Manufacturing/Industrial Engineering team out of Inteva's Technical Center in Vandalia, OH.

This is a full-time internship position during the spring semester (April 2025 - June 2025).

What will you get to work on?
  • Develop prototype manufacturing processes, support prototype builds, design and validate assembly equipment, cost estimating, manufacturing system design, application of LEAN concepts, operator work instructions, cycle time development, part presentation layout
  • Poential travel to customers, suppliers and other Inteva facilities
  • Learn and implement multiple manufacturing processes
  • Work in manufacturing plants and development lab facilities
  • Hands on prototype part building
  • Be a member of a development team who is working on new products
  • Vandalia Site recognized yearly as one of the best places to work in Ohio by industry rating groups
Position Requirements

Requirements for this internship:
  • Currently enrolled student pursuing a bachelor's degree in Industrial, Mechanical, or related Engineering with a 3.0 GPA or higher
  • Self-motivated
  • Good Oral and Written Communication Skills
  • Demonstrate basic technical ability
  • Interpersonal skills, working effectively with a team
  • Effective problem-solving skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office
  • Some analytical ability where problems are not difficult or complex
  • Ability to manage time and prioritize tasks for multiple people


Education Requirement
Currently enrolled student pursuing a bachelor's degree in Industrial, Mechanical, or related Engineering with a 3.0 GPA or higher
