Genesis10 is currently seeking an Application Programmer with our client in the financial industry located in Charlotte, NC, Plano, TX, and Pennington, NJ. This is a 12+ month contract position.

Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for development of highly scalable and most resilient reusable shared services for enterprise needs
  • Software Engineer is a member of the Shared Technology Development team and performs development and support of reusable shared capabilities across enterprise
  • Performs shared capabilities development and support
  • Codes solutions and unit tests to deliver a requirement/story per the defined acceptance criteria and compliance requirements
  • Ensures solutions are well designed with maintainability/ease of integration and testing built-in from the outset

Requirements:
  • Strong .NET skillset with application security background
  • Expertise in .Net core, C#, WCF, Restful API development, CI/CD processes and Jira
  • Experience in handling large scale multi-tiered application
  • Understanding on middleware technologies
  • Excellent analytical skills and critical thinking
  • Experience in project delivery in an agile environment
  • Experience in a CI/CD environment with automation
  • Good analytical skills to troubleshoot issues and resolve them
  • A team player and self-motivated to work on new projects as well as maintenance of existing projects
  • Pro-active, enthusiastic, adaptable and results driven
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

Desired Skills:
  • REST API design and development
  • Experience in collaborating with various stakeholders on delivering the solutions
  • Strong problem solving, critical thinking, communication and collaboration skills, self-motivated to learn new systems and technologies
  • Very good presentation skills
