  • Earn additional compensation up to $8.00 through the Clinical Advancement Program

  • 17% weekday night and 26% weekend night shift differentials

Responsibilities:

  • Assist ED staff with admission process for patients
  • Ensure appropriate identification and documentation of pre-existing conditions
  • Work with designated staff to improve inpatient quality metrics
  • Assign nursing care to patients using independent judgment
  • Provide clinical leadership for nursing and technician staff
  • Supervise patient care delivery on assigned shift
  • Ensure adherence to Hospitals and departmental policies and procedures

Requirements:

  • Graduate of nationally accredited nursing program
  • Current RN License in NM or allowed by reciprocal agreement
  • Bilingual in English and one of the following Keres, Tewa, Tiwa, Towa, Zuni, or Navajo
  • 2 years directly related experience
  • Current CPR certification
  • Nationally Certified in area of specialty (Nonessential)

Physical Conditions: Heavy Work: Exerting 50 to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 25 to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or 10 to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects or people. Physical Demand requirements are in excess of those for Medium Work.

Working Conditions: Subject to an annual contract and performance appraisal. May be required to handle hazardous materials and wear personal protective equipment.
