You may earn up to $8.00 in addition to base pay through the Clinical Advancement Program (CAP). Sign-on Bonus and Relocation Reimbursement are available for qualified candidates.

Qualifications:

  • Program Graduate
  • Nationally Accredited Nursing Graduate
  • Bilingual English/Spanish
  • Current RN license in New Mexico or reciprocal agreement
  • CPR for Healthcare/BLS Prov or Prof Rescuers certification within 30 days
  • Basic Arrhythmia and PALS certifications within 6 months of position
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification within 6 months of position
  • Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification within 6 months of hire

Responsibilities:

  • Work within the nursing process to provide direct nursing care to assigned patients
  • Provide clinical leadership for other staff and assume relief charge duties when designated
  • Serve as a role model to promote a positive work environment and quality patient care
  • Ensure adherence to Hospitals and departmental policies and procedures
  • Patient care assignment may include Neonate, Pediatric, Adolescent, Adult and Geriatric age groups

Physical Requirements:

  • Heavy Work: Exerting 50 to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 25 to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or 10 to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects or people
  • Sig Hazard: Chemicals, Bio Hazardous Materials required PPE
