Pain Management Medical Reviewer

Dane Street is excited to announce the expansion of our physician panel, providing an excellent opportunity for Pain Management Physicians As a leading Independent Review Organization and national provider of Independent Medical Exams (IMEs), we are seeking dedicated professionals to join our team for non-traditional physician roles that offer supplemental income.
The ideal candidate will possess a valid Michigan Medical license and be Board Certified in Pain Management or Anesthesiology.
Office location MUST be within 45 miles of Schoolcraft, Michigan.
As a Physician Reviewer/Advisor for Independent Medical Exams, you will have the opportunity to review medical records, conduct physical exams, and address vital clinical questions about the patient's diagnosis and care. Engaging with independent clinicians who have this expertise is essential to our process. To respect your time, we have established no-show and late cancellation fees.
Key Responsibilities:
- Must be board-certified and actively practicing in one of the following specialties:
- Family Practice
- On a contractual basis, based on your schedule, accept cases, review all medical records, conduct physical exams, and provide a comprehensive report addressing each question and clinical concern using AMA Guides to the Evaluation of Permanent Impairment, Sixth Edition.
- Submit your report promptly after the exam.
- Return cases by the specified due date and time.
- Conduct peer-to-peer calls as needed to gather additional information or clarification based on client-specific protocols.
- Perform additional duties, including addressing clarifications, providing addendums (for additional compensation), and identifying or responding to potential quality assurance issues or client complaints.
- Active practice is required to qualify.
