Contract Duration: 12 Months

Required Skills & Experience

  • Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills.

  • Ability to work effectively, as well as independently, in a team environment.

  • Experience with Cloud development, preferably Pivotal Cloud Foundry/Tanzu.

  • Experience in developing event driven solutions using Kafka.

  • Home lending technology experience.

  • 6 + years Java

  • 6 + years Java EE

  • 6 + years Java Microservices

  • 6 + years Spring

  • 6 + years Spring boot

  • 4+ years Spring, Spring MVC, Spring Boot, XML, JSON, RESTful

  • 4+ years Java, J2EE, SQL, Oracle

  • 2+ years Kafka

Desired Skills & Experience

  • 8+ years of application management which includes development, implementations, production support, managing SLA’s , capacity etc.

  • Knowledge and understanding of Software Development Lifecycle Methodologies (SDLC) : used in waterfall or Agile development projects

  • Demonstrated experience building or improving enterprise technology programs

  • Broad knowledge of IT processes and tools (Development, Testing, Code Deployment and Migration, Architecture, security, application design, etc.)

  • Experience communicating and presenting complex information to multiple levels of the organization.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Lead complex technology initiatives including those that are companywide with broad impact.

  • Act as a key participant in developing standards and companywide best practices for engineering complex and large-scale technology solutions for technology engineering disciplines.

  • Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs.

  • Review and analyze complex, large-scale technology solutions for tactical and strategic business objectives, enterprise technological environment, and technical challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors, including intangibles or unprecedented technical factors.

  • Make decisions in developing standard and companywide best practices for engineering and technology solutions requiring understanding of industry best practices and new technologies, influencing and leading technology team to meet deliverables and drive new initiatives.

  • Collaborate and consult with key technical experts, senior technology team, and external industry groups to resolve complex technical issues and achieve goals.

  • Responsible for delivering the technology related activities, to build, maintain multiple applications and services/micro services using Java, REST API, Spring and Kafka.

  • This position is part of a team cross functional Agile team that design, develop, test and support the complex applications in Home Lending.

  • Lead projects, teams, or serve as a peer mentor.
