Contract Duration: 12 Months

Required Skills & Experience 3+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, or education. 3+ years of Java development experience 2+ years of Java unit test case development experience 2+ years of Spring boot-based application development experience. 1+ years of cloud native application development experience (one of TAS - Tanzu Application Service, Azure, GCP, AWS) Should have good communication skills and ability to ask questions to have good understanding of requirements and implementation Desired Skills & Experience Angular or related UI Framework experience Agile Development methodologies Tomcat application server experience MongoDB or related NoSQL database experience Oracle database experience Kafka or related Data Streaming technology experience Cloud certification from any cloud providers Cloud native Microservices development experience based on Event Driven Architecture experience Domain Driven Design principles. App non-functional requirements including Monitoring (APM tools), Logging (Splunk), Distributed tracing. Experience with Monolith to Microservices decomposing experience Experience with Developing Automated functional testing using the BDD technique
What You Will Be Doing Participate in projects associated with the technology domain, including installation, upgrades, and deployment efforts. Identify opportunity for service quality and availability within the technology domain environment. Review and analyze technical assignments or challenges that are related to low to medium risk deliverables and that require research, evaluation, and selection of alternative technology domains. Present recommendations for resolving issues or may escalate issues as needed to meet established service level agreements. Exercise independent judgment while also developing understanding of given technology domain in reference to security and compliance requirements. Collaborate and consult with technology colleagues, internal partners, and stakeholders.
