Reports to: Building Principal, Evaluation Team Supervisor and Director of Special Education
Terms of Employment: 184 day work year. Benefits and salary in accordance with the LEA Unit A collective bargaining agreement.
August 26, 2024 start date. Unit A 24-25 Salary Range
Responsibilities:
- Supports Instructional programming by providing speech/language therapy to students as required.
- Consults with staff to meet the needs of all students requiring speech/language therapy
- Implements therapeutic plans
- Schedules students into appropriate instructional groups
- Assists with mobility, transitioning and personal care as needed
- Other duties as assigned
Job Qualifications & Physical Demands:
Must be DESE licensed as Speech Language Pathologist.
Must be willing and able to physically manage students if needed.
Classroom experience and college degree required.
