Position Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an HSE Coordinator. The HSE Coordinator will play a crucial role in ensuring the health, safety, and environmental compliance of our operations. This position requires a strong understanding of HSE regulations, excellent analytical skills, ability to develop training materials, and to communicate effectively with various stakeholders.
Core Duties / Key Responsibilities
- Assist in development and implementing HSE policies, procedures, and training programs to promote a culture of safety and environmental stewardship.
- Identify and implement improvements to existing processes to increase efficiency, productivity, and performance.
- Develop training materials, applications, and educational opportunities tailored for both Operational Leadership and front-line employees.
- Analyzed data related to incidents, near misses, and Motor Vehicle Accidents (MVA) performance to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with relevant HSE regulations and standards.
- Participate in incident investigations and root cause analyses to prevent recurrence.
- Prepare reports and presentations on HSE performance for management and regulatory agencies as required.
- Provide HSE support and guidance to project teams and operational staff. Consolidate data from various sources, including but not limited to Cority, Qlik, and various fleet safety systems such as LYTX.
- Coordinate audit cadences and inspections to produce consistency in data for potential health, safety, and environmental hazards.
- Work with key stakeholders to analyze, define, and document reporting needs.
- Create reports, summaries, presentations, and process documents to display results.
- Collaborate with other team members to effectively analyze and present data.
- Manage reporting requirements and requests from within the company.
- Produce ad hoc data analyses that answer pivotal questions about the business from a risk and safety perspective.
Other additional and/or alternate duties as assigned from time-to-time; including supporting other departments or executives as needed.
Position Qualifications
Experience/Education
Required Education: Bachelor's Degree preferred
Fields of Study Preferred: Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, Data Science, or a related field
Supplemental Experience: 3+ years in Data Analysis, Project Management, or Occupational Health and Safety
Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
Microsoft Applications: Proficient functionality in Microsoft Suite
Additional Technology: Excellent computer literacy and application
Travel: Up to 10%
Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills required
Additional Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of HSE regulations and standards, including OSHA, EPA, and other relevant agencies.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify trends.
- Effective communications skills with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical audiences.
- Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Someone who exhibits sound judgement with the ability to prioritize and understands when to escalate and when to make decisions.
- Comfortable interacting with high-level executives.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
- Take responsibility regarding all aspects of daily tasks and actions.
- Must be an exceptional multi-tasker and incredibly well organized.
- Working knowledge of office equipment.
- Thorough understanding of office management procedures.
- Analytical abilities and aptitude in problem-solving.
- Ensure all daily work is completed in a timely and accurate manner.

- Complete all PERC and other online training in a timely manner.
- Regular attendance at the worksite is required.
