A new opening for a Gastroenterology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide locum coverage at a facility in northern Illinois.

About the Opening:

  • Schedule: 12-hour days, 7a-7a
  • No call
  • Duties: Rounding and consults
  • Supporting 1 physician

  • Must be board-certified or board-eligible

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
  • National Institutes of Health (NIH)
  • Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
  • Active unencumbered Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Illinois state license
  • Graduate from a fully accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
  • One year of work experience as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner
  • One year of Epic experience
  • Board Certified
SKILLS/ABILITIES/COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:
  • Maintains and updates clinical knowledge and skills.
  • Participates in relevant continuing education programs.
  • Knowledge of and dedication to the highest patient care and provide the utmost service excellence to all patients.
