What You Will Do:
- As a Project Engineer, you will play the lead role in the design and coordination of roadway, drainage, and utility projects for our public and private clients.
- You will collaborate with other groups/ disciplines within the company to deliver top quality projects and unparalleled service to our clients.
- Specific tasks that you will perform include design calculations, quantity and cost estimates, and plan preparation.
- You will compile, write, and edit quality technical reports, feasibility reports, letters, memos, and specifications for projects.
- You will also help with proposals, project budgets and schedules, planning activities, and public involvement and other presentation opportunities.
- You will oversee the work of EITs or Technicians.
What You Will Bring:
- The successful candidate must have a bachelor's degree in civil engineering or similar degree from an accredited school and 4-7 years of experience in / Municipal/Civil Site/Transportation engineering or related field.
- You will have the ability to prepare, read and understand construction plans and technical documents and have a functional understanding of design software packages, preferably AutoCAD Civil 3D and HydroCAD.
- Candidates must have a valid driver's license with a good driving record.
- Our preferred candidate will have their Texas PE license or the ability to obtain their license within six months.
- Excellent communication skills and a strong work ethic will allow you to excel in this position.
