We are currently seeking a part-time SLPA to join our team. This is a 1099 Independent Contractor position, allowing you to work as many or as few hours as you wish, on a schedule that works for you.

Role Overview:
  • Provide direct treatment and care for clients following treatment plans and protocols developed by the Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
  • Plan and implement client-centered treatment activities and tasks to support skill development and progress towards established treatment goals
  • Collect data and document progress towards established treatment goals
  • Collaborate with the supervising SLP and parents/caregivers to support the therapeutic process and client progress
  • Complete succinct documentation of services in a timely manner
Requirements:
  • Associates Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field
  • Valid state license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant in the state of Arizona
  • Valid Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card
  • Experience or interest in early intervention and treating developmental disabilities
  • Passion for continuous learning and development of professional skills and knowledge
  • Positive and professional demeanor, with strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Experience or interest in feeding intervention is strongly preferred, but not required
  • Bilingualism is a plus

Working Conditions:

This position requires intermittent standing, lifting, kneeling, and sitting. In addition, this position may include working closely with clients who have mental, physical, and/or behavioral diagnoses and may be verbally or physically combative.
