Setup and operate a wide range of precision calibrated tools such as torque wrenches, micrometers, calipers, depth gauges and optical measuring instruments. Stage, assemble, install, and inspect spacecraft mechanical, electrical, and fluid components by interpreting and utilizing engineering drawings, provided specifications, written assembly instructions, and test procedures. Support engineering with diagnosis, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical spacecraft assemblies from component level to full spacecraft build. Support payload handling and integration operations that include handling of spacecraft assemblies. Operate material/hardware handling equipment including - but not limited to - forklifts, overhead cranes, aerial lifts, trailer tugs, and other ground support equipment as required. Collaborate with Engineers and/or teams of diverse skills and backgrounds to develop and document activities such as assembly work instructions. Setup new production work areas, assemble mock-ups, support engineering and process design efforts. Perform routine maintenance functions such as daily clean-up of work areas to support 5S, FOD, clean room, and safety guidelines. Perform other duties as assigned.
