Behavioral Health Technician -High School Diploma required. The BHT is responsible for providing one-on-one behavioral interventions to children in various settings. BHT is responsible to BHRS director and Quality Assurance Officer for clinical supervision at least once a week at a period of time commensurate to number of his/her services provided, i.e., ½ hour of less than 2 hours provided and 1 hour if 20 plus hours. GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THE TSS WORKER Works well with others towards a common goal. Contributes actively and positively to teamwork Adjusts action, style or schedule situations changes. Manages multiple tasks. Plans and implements strategies, offers suggestions/feedback without prompting. Seeks opportunities to increase job skills and knowledge. Effectively expresses self. Listens attentively. Creates a climate for open communication. Respects confidentiality and privacy. Operates according to policies and procedures of facility. Adheres to health and safety standard of facility. Treats others with dignity and respect. Acts with consideration for the needs of clients, visitors and other employees. Is conscientious of cost-effectiveness. Expresses ideas and information clearly and concisely in verbal and written form. Mandated reporting of suspected child abuse and/or neglect. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES Upholds general standard of professional conduct. Supervises/monitors activities of the child with emphasis placed on identified problem areas. Intervenes as a needed when problem behaviors are exhibited. Implements interventions listed on treatment plan. Is an active participant in problem resolution to ensure that BHRS and other services are provided with interruption, Provides one on one intervention in a natural setting as possible according to the treatment plan and ongoing therapeutic need to stabilize the child or adolescent Applicants are to click on Start Application, Apply and then email resume directly to employer.
