Position Overview: We are seeking a talented Assistant Graphic Designer with experience in the fashion or clothing industry, loungewear and intimates is a plus. The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for detail, a passion for graphics, illustration and design. Must have the ability to create visually appealing designs that align with our products and license guidelines. Knowledge of packaging design and licensing is a plus. The role requires proficiency in pattern design and a good understanding of current fashion trends. The candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, be a team player, and be willing to learn. Key
Responsibilities:
• Develop and refine patterns for various apparel items, ensuring they meet design and license specifications and standards.
• Assist in the creation of packaging designs for our products, ensuring they are both functional and aesthetically pleasing.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas for new designs and collections.
• Stay updated with the latest trends in fashion and graphic design to ensure our products remain current and competitive.
• Prepare and present design concepts to the team and make revisions as needed.
• Work closely with the production team to ensure designs are accurately translated into finished products.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Fashion Design, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in graphic design, preferably in the fashion or clothing industry.
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Strong understanding of patterns and placement graphics.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Experience with packaging design is a plus
• Knowledge of licensing processes and requirements is a plus.
