RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES *Assessing the status of company IT, network, and security systems. *Designing and implementing security networks and protocols. *Inspecting and upgrading hardware to avoid vulnerability points. *Upgrading security software on company systems. *Inspecting and testing the security of the network. *Running penetration tests on upgraded systems. *Responding to security threats. *Investigating security incidents and determining the cause of the breach *Staying up-to-date with the latest security threats and technologies *Drafting security policies and guidelines. *Additional duties as assigned. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS *4-6 years practical field experience performing aforementioned responsibilities/duties *Bachelor's degree in a related field *ITIL Foundations within 6 months. *SECRET Clearance *Must be a US citizen. *Able to work Overtime as required. *Must be available to travel as required. *One of the following: oCCNA-Security oCYSA+ oGICSP oGSEC oSecurity+ CE oCND oSSCP PREFERRED SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE *Knowledgeable in Army Network Enterprise Center operations *MS Certified: Information Protection Administrator Associate and/or a CISSP, Cyber Security Service Provider (CSSP) may be required *Knowledge of security protocols and standards, such as SSL/TLS, IPsec, and DNSSEC *Familiarity with security tools and software, such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and Encryption software *Strong analytical and problem-solving skills *Excellent communication and interpersonal skills *Ability to work well in a team environment *Strong attention to detail PHYSICAL DEMANDS *Predominantly indoors in normal office environment *Must be able to sit, stand, walk, stoop, kneel and reach *Must be able to speak, write, read, and understand English *May require frequent computer use for several hours at a time *Frequently work at fast pace with unscheduled interruptions *Must have visual acuity *Must be able to lift up-to 10 pounds COMPENSATION Salary and benefits will be commensurate with experience, expertise, education, and potential.
