Who we are:

Animal and Bird Medical Center is looking to add a full-time veterinary technician to our team.

Join our fun team of professionals who love taking care of pets and people.

We are looking for an applicant with good communication, attention to detail, a fast learner, and customer service skills. This position involves pet husbandry and care, assisting veterinarians, preparing lab samples, assisting with patients during exams and surgeries, performing radiographs, filling medications, educating clients on pet husbandry, answering phones, and making appointments. We will teach you the proper techniques in companion animal, exotic, and avian care.

In a typical week, we see plenty of dogs/puppies, cats/kittens, birds, rabbits, pocket pets, reptiles, and we even have two Amazon parrots as our lobby mascots. We are looking for a team player to join our work family in helping us provide the best possible care for our clients and patients.

This is a full-time position (30-40 hours/week) with a flexible schedule. A love of animals and a customer service background is a great fit for this position. Experience in this field is a plus, but we are always willing to do on the job training for motivated applicants.

Starting pay will depend on experience.
