**A little bit about us **We have been a full-service, small animal hospital located just outside of historic downtown Palm Harbor for over 30+ years that strives to provide state-of-the-art technology and progressive medicine. We are now proud to offer an innovative specialty center for pain management, rehabilitation, and regenerative medicine to our community as well. We are equipped with a revolutionary rehabilitation gym, hydrotherapy, neurology-based acupuncture, kinesitherapy, advanced pharmaceutical pain management therapies, and sports medicine and conditioning. We are the only veterinary practice in Pinellas County to provide such a vast array of modalities under one roof to our clients and patients. Aside from our pain management and rehabilitation certifications, we have also been a certified Fear-Free practice, and certified as a Feline Friendly Practice, for over ten years.

A few of the **daily job duties** include, but are not limited to:

- Restraint and assisting during common evaluations and procedures
- Professional client communication and education obtaining medical histories and symptoms
- Proficient in prophylactic dental cleanings
- Anesthetic nursing for routine and emergent surgical procedures (our clinical staff is responsible for all aspects of anesthesia from induction to recovery)
- Laboratory procedures including hematology, cytology, urinalysis, and fecal cytology
- Phlebotomy (especially geriatric and pediatric patients) and indwelling catheter placement
- Diagnostic imaging (digital radiography, ultrasound guided sampling, and dental radiology)
- Obtain vitals and administer medications parenterally

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

**Experience**:

- Veterinary experience: 2 years (required)

License/Certification:

- Veterinary Technician Certification (preferred)
