Provide international brand public relations leadership with a primary focus on strategic communications for established and up-and-coming brands in a highly competitive global marketplace . Define, support, manage, and communicate the communications strategy internally and externally to assist in driving revenue and mitigating risk . Help position the brand to drive shifts in preference and buying behavior among target audiences . Create and d rive strategies across global markets while ensuring consistent brand and corporate messaging is localized effectively . Oversee and direct activities of PR agencies around the world . Coordinate closely with internal marketing and product teams. Establish be st practices for measurement and reporting of PR results to inform strategies and tactics across the enterprise.

International Public Relations Strategy

• Develop and implement comprehensive public relations plans, advise on effective spend and audit/re-strategize executed campaigns, if needed.

• Create and implement brand awareness public relations campaigns in multiple, diversified domestic and international markets

• Design tailored in-country public relations campaigns specific to the needs of target countries.

• Work with partner networks and resellers to evaluate business needs, create and review public relations plans and strategize tactical campaigns.

• Adhere to ethical standards and comply with the laws and regulations applicable to your job function

Skills:

  • A strong record of performance in reaching desired markets

  • The ability to contribute to and develop strategic communication plans

  • In-depth understanding of long-term strategic planning and ability to develop and implement strategic plans

  • Proven experience in creating and implementing country-specific effective communications plans.

  • Outstanding leadership skills developed in a fast-paced, dynamic, multi-tasking environment with the ability to take a project and follow through to execution.

  • Demonstrated success in a matrix-type organizational structure with vertical and lateral relationships between business units and functional groups

  • Ability to recruit, develop and train a strong professional team

  • Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills

  • Forward-thinking intellectual leadership, excellent collaboration and negotiation skills, excellent presentation and managerial skills are essential for success in this role

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, Marketing, Journalism or related field

  • MBA preferred

Required Experience:

  • 10+ years of public relations/communications experience are required or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and abilities can be acquired is necessary

  • PR Agency experience a plus

  • Experience developing social media strategy a plus
