A global Logistics and Transportation Company is looking for a Financial Analyst to add to their growing team. The Financial Analyst will play a key role in providing financial and analytical support to operations. The main focus of this job to start will be taking on the fixed assets function.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Overall responsibility for data entry into accounting/operating system and integrity of system data
  • Perform journal entries, reconciliations, and more technical accounting tasks
  • Prepares monthly/quarterly/yearly financial reports..
  • Oversee and review balance sheet in preparation for monthly balance sheet review with managements.
  • Handle and own the fixed asset function
  • Build and maintain various Excel templates and reports with the goal of creating efficiencies in the business.
  • Efficiently manage and process financial requests from branches while meeting tight deadlines during the month-end closing period.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor degree in Accounting / Finance
  • 2+ years of financial analysis/accounting experience
  • Excel advanced skills (data analysis, pivot table, VLOOKUPs, etc.)
  • Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting tools.

Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with ERP systems
  • Experience with fixed assets
  • MBA is a plus


Compensation: $70,000
Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications.
