How You'll Make an Impact: A Mobile Radiologic Technologist will perform diagnostic imaging procedures in various settings to support the diagnosis and treatment of diseases and injuries. This role also involves duties to enhance patient care, customer service, and operational efficiency.

What You'll Do:

  • Travel to perform portable x-rays and EKG exams in different settings, including nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and patient homes.
  • Follow company policies and procedures for diagnostic imaging exams.
  • Collect and verify required order documentation and patient information.
  • Prepare and position patients for diagnostic imaging exams.
  • Operate portable radiologic equipment at bedside or designated exam settings.
  • Determine exposure factors based on patient information.
  • Demonstrate safe work practices, including radiation safety and infection control.
  • Process and review images for diagnostic quality.
  • Complete all necessary forms and maintain records of work performed.
  • Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment.
  • Assist with troubleshooting equipment and systems.
  • Take good care of the vehicle and ensure it is well stocked with necessary supplies.
  • Adhere to all applicable local, state, and federal rules and regulations.
  • Perform training and orientation of other employees as requested.
  • Assist with administrative and customer support functions as directed.
  • Act professionally and exhibit a positive attitude when interacting with others.
  • Demonstrate personal commitment to the company's mission and values.
  • Follow company policies and guidelines.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in the use of company computers and digital x-ray technology.
  • Build effective working relationships and contribute to a positive work environment.

What You Need:

  • Meet state-specific and federal requirements for portable x-rays.
  • Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) as a Radiologic Technologist RT (R) is preferred.
  • Valid state-issued driver's license and good driving record.
  • Ability to move or lift equipment up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to work a varied schedule that may include evenings, holidays, and weekends.
