Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Hospitalist team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate advanced knowledge and expertise in patient care and will work in collaboration with the attending physician and other healthcare providers to provide family-centered care.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct patient assessments and perform physical examinations
  • Order and interpret medical laboratory tests
  • Administer medications, treatments, and perform minor surgery
  • Maintain accurate patient medical reports
  • Act as a mentor to new staff and physician assistant students

Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
  • Licensed NP - Nurse Practitioner
  • ATLS - Advanced Trauma Life Support certification
  • BCLS - Basic Life Support certification
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written skills

Physical Demands:

  • Standing, walking, lifting, and handling frequently
  • Talking and hearing constantly
