ETL DEVELOPER
The Select Group is currently searching for an ETL Developer to join as a resource for one of our clients within the Telecommunications industry that will be working hybrid (2-3 days onsite) sitting in Denver, CO This Developer will be joining the Connectivity Insights team with this client and will primarily be responsible for building robust, scalable reporting, and analytics solutions for high speed data (internet) and Wi-Fi platforms. The team provides recurring production reports and in-depth analyses on all new and existing products, features, and enhancements therefore the accuracy and integrity of the data is crucial. Ideally this Developer should be an expert in SQL with a background in data integrity specifically; making sure the data created is accurate before going to the reporting teams. ETL DEVELOPER REQUIREMENTS:
  • Must possess at least 5+ years of ETL Data Engineering/Development experience with SQL being the primarily language for manipulating the data and extracting from different sources
  • Strong proven SQL Development experience, Data Validation, Analysis, & Data Integrity
  • Cloud database experience for hosting the data virtually preferably in AWS but other cloud environments are accepted
  • Automation scripting experience for moving data easily and efficiently in Python - navigating through code and perform ETL Tasks from the original script in Python

PLUS SKILLS:
  • Telecommunications industry experience would be ideal, however other enterprise level clients and industries will be accepted
  • Any knowledge or professional experience with data visualizations such as dashboards using Tableau is preferred
  • Snowflake query engine expertise is ideal for this role but not absolutely needed
  • Experience architecting/designing data pipelines and pipeline optimization is preferred

ETL DEVELOPER RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Coordinating, building, and managing new data ingests
  • Architecting updates, fixes, and optimizations across suite of production jobs
  • Providing feedback on and enacting changes for improvements across the team including both technical and process updates
  • Learn and assess new technologies for implementation through proof-of-concept projects and testing
  • Mentoring junior developers
  • Partnering with data analysts and data scientists to design, build, and deploy aggregation processes
