Summary

Department: Ultrasound

Shift Timings: 10:00 - 08:30- Monday to friday (3 days/12 Hours)

Per Week: 36 Hours

Will work Thursday, Friday and Saturday 7p-730am every week.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • The Ultrasound Technologist performs diagnostic ultrasound studies, demonstrating good judgment in the use and application of ultrasound equipment.
  • The incumbent assesses the findings in the ultrasound examinations and assists the radiologist and staff physicians in interpreting the ultrasound studies.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • BLS and ACLS
  • National Institutes of Health (NIH)
  • Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
  • The ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Strong technical skills.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology
  • Passionate about patient care
  • Requires a minimum of three years of current Ultrasound Tech experience.
  • Graduate from a fully accredited Ultrasound Tech program
  • Active unencumbered Ultrasound Tech Maryland state license
  • One year of Cerner experience
  • ARRT Certification
Requirements
• COVID vaccine with 2 Shots & Booster.

  • A can-do, team oriented attitude is essential, as the ability to work independently and to interact easily with physicians, other managers and staff throughout the department and hospital.
  • Effective interpersonal/communication, organizational, and the flexibility to handle multiple tasks.
