Job Description:

The Cardiac Sonographer is responsible for operating diagnostic ultrasound equipment and for scanning patients in all aspects of cardiac scanning including M-Mode, 2-D, color, Doppler, exercise testing, and TEE.

This position reports to the Supervisor Cardiac Sonographer and operates within established organizational and departmental policies and procedures.

REQUIREMENTS:

Associate's degree in radiology or equivalent certification required

RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer) required

Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS certification required

One (1) to three (3) years experience as an Ultrasound Technician preferred

Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) required. BLS required. Shared housing provided at no cost.

Certification: Basic Life Support , Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support
