Job Overview:


The Cardiac Imaging Specialist plays a crucial role in utilizing advanced ultrasound technology to conduct comprehensive cardiac assessments. This position involves performing a variety of cardiac imaging techniques, including M-Mode, 2-D imaging, color Doppler, exercise testing, and transesophageal echocardiography (TEE).

Reporting directly to the Cardiac Imaging Supervisor, the specialist adheres to established protocols and guidelines within the organization and department.

Key Qualifications:

- An Associate's degree in radiology or a related field is mandatory.

- Certification as a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) is essential.

- A valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross is required.

- Preferred experience ranges from one (1) to three (3) years in a similar role as an Ultrasound Technician.

- RDCS or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) certification is required. BLS certification is also mandatory.
