Sigma Healthcare Team is currently looking for a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant to work onsite at our client's facility in Elgin, IL.

Full Job Description:
  • We are partnering with a well-respected School District in Elgin, IL that is looking for a highly motivated and passionate Speech Language Pathologist Assistant for a contract position. Candidates must be willing to support a friendly, positive, and professional environment and work in a fast-paced setting. The client is seeking a candidate available for full-time hours. They would prefer someone with previous School, Early Childhood, or Pediatric Experience. The schedule will be 7 Hour Days Monday through Friday. Essential Functions:
  • Effectively deliver curriculum based on needs specified in Individual Educational Plans.
  • Observes, evaluates and prepares reports on progress of students.
  • Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary colleagues on IU and district initiatives.
  • High level organization and time management skills.
  • Strategic thinking in the delivery of services to students.

Education and Experience:
Level of Degree:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Experience working with students with Autism, life skills, multiple disabilities and/or other health impairments.
  • Experience working in educational settings with professional communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to follow Supervisor's instructions.
