PACE or Program of All-inclusive Care for the Elderly is a federal and state funded program that provides comprehensive, coordinated, and proactive whole-person care to help maintain and improve seniors' health so they can live safely in their homes. HopeWest PACE provides home care, access to the day center and clinic, transportation to and from medical appointments, and activities to enhance the lives of patients and their families. This innovative program balances medical, emotional, physical, and social needs of seniors.

The Scheduling Specialists will be cross-trained and responsible for a variety of scheduling needs for the participants in the PACE program. This will include transportation, home care visits, clinic visits, and outside medical appointments with our contracted providers. The scheduling specialists will also be responsible for re-scheduling any missed or cancelled appointments, managing holiday schedules, and providing adequate coverage for planned or unplanned staff absences.

What You Bring:
  • Experience in healthcare scheduling.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Effective and respectful communication both verbally and in writing in a multitude of situations and settings, including highly emotional circumstances.
  • Knowledge of Medical Terminology.
  • Ability to set priorities and follow through.
  • Effectively work with and build relationships with others.
  • Attention to detail; accuracy in all work.
  • Proficient with EMR and Microsoft Office products such as Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Valid Colorado driver's license, adequate automobile insurance and access to reliable transportation if working in the community setting.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively.
