Correctional Facility Registered Nurse

Salary: $39.68 - $51.59 / Hourly
Job Description: At CoreCivic, we are seeking dedicated Registered Nurses for our Correctional Facility. As a member of our healthcare team, you'll have the opportunity to use your skills and experience to provide high-quality care within our institution. Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing nursing care to inmates/residents and assessing their healthcare needs
- Accompanying the physician on sick calls and preparing inmates/residents for examinations
- Referring inmates/residents to outside healthcare facilities if necessary
- Performing emergency procedures and notifying licensed providers
- Supervising and monitoring nursing care provided by unlicensed staff
Qualifications: To be considered for this position, you must have:
- A degree/diploma in nursing from an accredited college or university
- A current nursing license in the state in which you are employed
- At least one year of professional nursing experience
- A valid driver's license and be at least 18 years of age
