  • PRN/ Day Shift
  • Varied days, flexibility required
  • Hour of Operating: Monday through Friday, 7 AM to 4:30 PM

This position involves performing mammography radiographic procedures used by physicians to detect abnormalities, make diagnoses, and treat patients. The role requires a graduate of an accredited school of radiologic technology and an approved program of mammography technology, as well as certifications in Basic or Advanced Life Support, current license by the Texas Medical Board, and registrations with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. In addition to technical responsibilities, the position includes ensuring compliance with all radiation safety procedures, performing quality assurance on mammography equipment, and identifying and reporting any accidents, complaints, or equipment malfunctions. The role also involves providing safe care to patients, staff, and visitors; adhering to all Memorial Hermann policies, procedures, and standards within budgetary specifications; promoting individual professional growth and development; and demonstrating commitment to creating compassionate and personalized experiences for every member of the community. Other duties as assigned.
