Description 500 Sign on Bonus Lutheran Social Services is currently seeking a Part-time(16-20 hours per week) Human Service Specialist to join our Community Transition Team in the Eau Claire Area. Due to contractual reasons, only Male applicants are needed at this time. Primary duties in this role are administering and observing urinalysis, breathalyzers, oral fluid swabs, and sweat patch testing Shifts are generally 4 hours long as the hours of operation are; Monday-Friday 7am-11:30am and 3:45pm-8pm. as well as Weekends and Holidays 7:15am-Noon. Per our contract, only male applicants will be accepted at this time This is a great part time role for students interested in the criminal justice system Examples of services Expected may include (These are examples, not all inclusive, Individual Skill Development and Enhancement (e.g. daily living skills - cleaning, hygiene, mentoring of youth, teaching of parenting skills, community engagement) Individual and/or Family Psychoeducation (e.g. mental health, substance use, parenting) Medication Monitoring - Non-Prescriber (e.g. delivery medications to improve compliance, review and teach clients about the medications/potential side effects) Employment Related Skill Training - address the person\'s illness or symptom-related problems in finding, securing, and keeping a job. Services may include but are not limited to: employment and education assessments; assistance in accessing or participating in educational and employment- related services; education about appropriate job-related behaviors; assistance with job preparation activities such as personal hygiene, clothing, and transportation; on-site employment evaluation and feedback sessions to identify and manage work related symptoms; assistance with work-related crises; and individual therapeutic support.
