Abilities/Responsibilities:
  • Assists senior engineers with project tasks.
  • Requires extensive supervision and support.
  • Familiar with electrical and/or mechanical engineering principles
  • No experience with vision, controls, and robotics.

Qualifications:
  • 0-2 years of professional experience with industrial automation technologies
  • BS degree in an engineering specialty with a preference towards Electrical or Mechanical engineering
  • Technical Qualifications:
    • Familiarity with basic electrical design principles using software applications such as AutoCAD
    • Familiarity with basic mechanical design principles using software application such as Fusion 360
  • Other Qualifications:
    • A valid driver's license.
    • Complete some overnight travel when required at customer sites or training locations, including occasional stays for 3-4 nights. Most work is local or regional, but could be nationwide.
    • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, use hands, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Reasonable accommodation may be made to individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
