As the Electrical Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, testing, and maintaining electrical systems and equipment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating innovative solutions and ensuring the successful integration of electrical systems across a range of applications. The Electrical Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects efficiently and to the highest standards.

What You'll Do:

  • Develop and design electrical systems, circuits, and components based on project requirements, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Perform load calculations, power distribution analysis, and other design-related calculations to ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
  • Build prototypes of electrical systems, perform testing, and troubleshoot issues to ensure the systems function as designed.
  • Prepare detailed technical documentation, including schematics, wiring diagrams, and design specifications for project stakeholders.
  • Work closely with project managers, mechanical engineers, and other team members to integrate electrical systems into larger projects.
  • Ensure all electrical designs adhere to safety standards, codes (such as NEC, IEC), and any other regulatory requirements.
  • Stay up-to-date with advancements in electrical engineering technologies and propose innovations that improve system performance, cost, and energy efficiency.
  • Conduct tests to ensure that systems meet required performance standards, and work on improving the quality and reliability of electrical systems.
What You Bring:
  • A degree in Electrical Engineering (Bachelors or higher).
  • Proven experience as an Electrical Engineer or in a similar role within the defense industry.
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD Electrical, or other similar electrical design software.
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems, circuits, power distribution, and control systems.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex electrical problems.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-engineering stakeholders.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of work.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Will be required to qualify for and maintain a Top Secret Security Clearance.
