We provide our employees a top-rated benefits package, supportive work culture, and more Inpatient Pharmacy Technician The Inpatient Pharmacy Technician assists with the preparation and dispensing of medications for patients served by Broadlawns Medical Center Inpatient Pharmacy. All duties are performed under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist. Schedule Variable 9am-5pm Every 3-4 Weekends Qualifications Registration as a Pharmacy Technician with the Iowa Board of Pharmacy within 90 days of employment Successful completion of the Certified Pharmacy Technician examination within 18 months of beginning position Ability to effectively communicate with patients, coworkers, and vendor partners Math aptitude with the ability to perform dosage or quantity calculations accurately Experience with pyxis preferred Knowledge of medical terminology, including generic and brand name pharmaceuticals Benefits (FT/PT) Retirement - IPERS Education Assistance Employee Health & Wellness PTO Free Parking Health Insurance Supplemental Insurance 529 College Savings Plan And more Broadlawns Medical Center is an Equal Opportunity Employer Read Carefully: This application shall remain active for 90 days.
