Job Description

This position is a hybrid role; candidate must be located in the surrounding Egg Harbor Township, NJ area.

Join our team and play a critical role in investigating, evaluating, and negotiating claims to achieve optimal outcomes and resolutions for our clients. In this role as a Claims Adjuster, you will:

  • Investigate claims against the organization for personal, casualty, or property loss or damages and negotiate settlements.
  • Examine claim forms and other records to determine coverage.
  • Interview claimants and witnesses, research public records and inspect property to determine the extent of the insurer's liability.
  • Recommend litigation when settlement cannot be reached.
Qualifications
  • Associates or Bachelor's degree, or four or more years of equivalent work experience required in an insurance/TPA or related industry.
  • At least 4-5 years of experience handling liability claims required; more experience may be required depending upon complexity of claim pending.
  • Completion of training courses internally and/or externally in all significant areas affecting claims handling and practices.
  • Licenses, certifications, awards preferred.
  • Title 59 experience highly preferred.

The expected base pay for this position ranges from $22.00 - $30.00 hourly, and will be based on a number of additional factors including skills, experience, and education.
