Our telecommunications client is looking for a Business Systems Analyst to join their team.

Due to client requirement, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.

Pay Rate: $60.00 - $67.00/hr on W2

Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be taken into account when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting is a reflection of a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided pay range.

W2 employees of Eliassen Group who are regularly scheduled to work 30 or more hours per week are eligible for the following benefits: medical (choice of 3 plans), dental, vision, pre-tax accounts, other voluntary benefits including life and disability insurance, 401(k) with match, and sick time if required by law in the worked-in state/locality.

Responsibilities of the Business Systems Analyst:

  • Lead the Role-Based Application Access project from planning through implementation
  • Ensure alignment with business goals and regulatory requirements
  • Gather and document business requirements related to application access and security
  • Analyze current access control processes and identify opportunities for improvement and automation
  • Utilize knowledge of firewall technologies to design and implement secure access solutions
  • Develop and recommend role-based access models
  • Ensure role-based access models are integrated effectively with existing systems and firewalls
  • Facilitate clear and effective communication between business units, IT, and external partners
  • Create comprehensive documentation of business processes, requirements, access policies, and project deliverables
  • Coordinate and conduct testing to ensure the access solutions meet business needs and security standards
  • Develop training materials and conduct training sessions for end-users and administrators
  • Ensure all solutions comply with relevant regulations and industry standards
Requirements of the Business Systems Analyst:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field
  • At least 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst
  • At least 2 years of experience in network security and application access projects
  • Demonstrated experience in leading projects
  • Ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Proficiency in firewall technologies (e.g., Palo Alto Networks)
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies and tools
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CBAP, CISSP, CISA) are a plus
