Speech-Language Pathology Assistant

Overview:

As a therapist-owned and operated facility, we give all of our clinicians the unique personal attention, mentoring, and career support they need to best serve our patients.

Requirements:

  • Current Texas SLPA licensure
  • 6 months of full-time clinical experience
  • Pediatrics experience
  • Home Health experience preferred
  • Bilingual is preferred, but not required
Responsibilities include:
  • Provides skilled speech therapy services/interventions in accordance with physician orders
  • Provides skilled speech therapy services/interventions in the patients' home or daytime facility
  • Schedules weekly supervision visit(s) with his/her supervising SLP according to Texas board guidelines
  • Collaborates with all disciplines to plan and address team goals for each patient
  • Plans for care to meet goals of the speech therapy interventions
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations.
  • Enhances speech therapy reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests and exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments
