Tell me more about this role, what would I be doing?

Summary:

The Cleaner will be responsible for maintaining a clean and orderly environment within our office premises. This role is crucial in ensuring a pleasant and hygienic workspace for all employees and visitors.

Essential Duties and Functions: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Clean and sanitize office areas, including desks, chairs, and common areas.
• Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors.
• Empty trash bins and replace liners.
• Clean and disinfect restrooms, including sinks, toilets, and mirrors.
• Replenish restroom supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper.
• Dust and wipe down surfaces, including windowsills, baseboards, and light fixtures.
• Maintain cleaning equipment and report any maintenance or repair needs.
• Follow all health and safety regulations.

Required

• Previous experience in a cleaning or janitorial role.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and thoroughness in completing tasks.
• Good physical stamina and ability to perform repetitive tasks.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.

Preferred

• 3+ years in a cleaning or janitorial role.

Physical Requirements Necessary on a Regular Basis:

Speech and hearing sufficient for in-person and telephone communication 4-5 hours per day.

Vision sufficient.

Ability to walk 4-5 hours per day.
