JOB SUMMARY
The Interventional Registered Nurse provides comprehensive nursing care to patients in the surgical department, assisting with biopsy, drainage procedures, and other special procedures. The role involves circulating in the department, monitoring patients' physical and emotional changes, maintaining the flow of the Interventional Recovery Unit, and ensuring safety practices are followed. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of recent acute care experience, with a minimum of 1 year in critical care, ER, or PACU. Current Florida RN or APRN licensure is required, along with BLS and ALS certifications. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Windows is also necessary.
