POSITION SUMMARY
We are currently in search of a Temporary Full-Time Pool Perioperative Registered Nurse. This position entails delivering direct patient care, assessing outcomes, and engaging in quality enhancement initiatives. The RN in the operating room also administers prescribed medical treatments as necessary and provides guidance and mentorship to peers and students.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Administer direct patient care in accordance with established protocols and procedures
- Assess patient conditions and outcomes to identify required interventions
- Maintain precise and comprehensive patient documentation
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and offer leadership to colleagues and students
- Participate in quality improvement projects and committees
- Ensure proficiency in clinical competencies and remain informed about current policies and practices
- Perform any additional assigned responsibilities
REQUIREMENTS
- Must possess a valid RN or APRN license in the State of Florida
- A minimum of one year of recent operating room experience is essential
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required from a recognized organization
- Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification is also required
- Intermediate proficiency in computer applications including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Windows
