Job Description:
We are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Panel Builder to join our team in Ewing, NJ. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building, installing, and maintaining electrical panels for industrial machines. This role requires a precise understanding of electrical systems, including high and low voltage, relays, PLCs, electrical wiring, schematics, PCBs, soldering, machining, caliper usage, and power tool operation.
Responsibilities:
- Build and install electrical panels for industrial machines.
- Wire high voltage and low voltage systems according to engineering specifications.
- Install and test relays, PLCs, and other electrical components.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Perform electrical wiring and soldering tasks according to safety standards.
- Assemble and fabricate components according to precise specifications.
- Use power tools and machinery for cutting, shaping, and drilling.
- Measure and inspect parts using calipers and other precision instruments.
- Test and troubleshoot assembled products for functionality and safety.
- Ensure compliance with all safety and quality standards.
- 5+ years of experience in electrical panel building or a similar role.
- Proficiency in electrical wiring, reading schematics, and understanding PCBs.
- Experience in soldering and machining, with adept use of calipers and power tools.
- In-depth knowledge of electrical engineering principles and logic controllers.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical schematics.
