Personal Care Aide (PCA) JOB DESCRIPTION Position Summary: Provide conversation and companionship ```{=html} ``` - Assist with ambulation, positing, transferring, and exercise ```{=html} ``` - Prepare meals, monitor diet and eating ```{=html} ``` - Medication reminders ```{=html} ``` - Assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting ```{=html} ``` - Light housekeeping ```{=html} ``` - Laundry and linen washing ```{=html} ``` - Accompany to doctor appointments ```{=html} ``` - Provide transportation for community outings ```{=html} ``` - Provide direct daily support ```{=html} ``` - Responsible for preventing abuse by adhering to all policies and procedure ```{=html} ``` - Reporting suspicious and inappropriate behavior ```{=html} ``` - Follow mandatory abuse reporting requirements ```{=html} ``` - Attend periodic trainings and ongoing education sessions ```{=html} ``` - Ability to document daily client activities and observations ```{=html} ``` - Assist as needed throughout the night ```{=html} ``` - Reports to work with a clean, well-groomed appearance Additional Responsibilities Assist with other related duties as requested or asked by clients ```{=html} ``` - Call office with any changes to clients health, needs, and/or living conditions ```{=html} ``` - Communicate with clients in a respectful manner ```{=html} ``` - Treat client and clients property with respect ```{=html} ``` - Must demonstrate the ability to read and write Employee Requirements 1.
