Responsible for training and enforcement of the Company’s Safety Rules and Policies, local work procedures, environmental procedures, and always follows the energy control process. Responsible for the coordination & scheduling of equipment outages and switching to ensure safety working environments thru constant communication with System Operating, Power Dispatchers. Transmission Control Center and Work Management. Assures the timely completion of all administrative processes such as annual reviews, enforcement of the Labor Agreement, Time & Labor, tailboard documentation, progress reporting, etc. Reviews and communicates with responsible engineering personnel to complete pre-job planning, monitor progress, resolve in progress problems, and identify revisions to scope and obtains necessary approvals. May be assigned an Electric Utilities emergency and storm role. This is a special assignment that comes into play during storms and other emergencies when the company needs to restore power or respond to other issues affecting customer service.
