RMC is hiring for a System Administrator who will provide System Administrator support to an RDT&E environment. The selected applicant will manage the functionality and efficiency of a group of windows workstations and servers and perform hardware and software installations.
The selected applicant will possess the following:
- Support virtual and physical RHEL 8&9 workstations and servers.
- Support Linux based storage systems for use as shares across the network
- Perform general IT requirements, installation, configuration, maintenance, and security in a classified or unclassified network environment.
- Provide ACAS/Nessus vulnerability and scanning support.
- Monitoring performance including monitoring disk space, utilization, capacity, and availability.
- Support ISSOs in implementing and supporting cyber security standards to include NIST and Risk Management Framework (RMF) C&A Standards and project reporting requirements.
- Perform system backup and recovery.
- Perform PKI maintenance for DoD systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in an RDT&E environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree AND three to ten (3-10) years of experience in related infrastructure, operating systems, system administration work is required.
- OR Six (6) years of additional related work experience OR an Associate's degree and four (4) years of additional related work experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
Certification Requirement:
- The selected applicant must have DoD 8570/5239 IAT Level II Certification (Security + CE)
Clearance Requirement:
- An active DoD TOP SECRET clearance is required to start.
- Applicant selected may be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
